Overview

Now that you have created your lesson, You will now need to add some content to it. The content you can add can vary from URL links to TV4ED / YouTube programs even catalogue records.

Adding content to your lesson.

N.B You can only access a lesson that you have created or been given access to edit from the creator.

1. Log into your SmartSuite platform with an account that has teacher access

2. Click the Menu button select Patron then select My Items.

3. All lessons will be highlighted in either purple or green

Purple = My Lessons

Green = Lessons that have been shared with me

4. Click on the lesson to launch it

5. When the Start Lesson window appears, select Edit

6. At the top of right you will see the View Materials menu option. Clikc on the + 

7.  Select from the list, the type of teaching material you wish to search and/or add to your lesson explanations for each item is below.

Adding questions to your material

1. Open your lesson and click the + Under "Get Thinking" 

2. Select from the list, the type of question you would like to add to your lesson

Multiple Choices: Allows audiences to select more than one answer for the question

Single Selection: Allows audiences to select only ONE answer for the question

Yes-No Box: Provides audiences with only 2 responses (Yes) OR (No)

Missing Word: Allows lesson creators to type a sentence leaving out important key words/phrases for the audience to complete

3. Enter your Question and possible Answers.

4. Select which are the correct answer(s) by clicking on the  OR to toggle the answer on OR off

5. Click icon
