Overview

This help article will guide you through adding a blank column in Smart Patron Import, adding a blank column is used if you would like to add a column that does not exist in the uploaded CSV file.  

Adding Blank Column

1)  Once you have passed the initial steps of patron import and you are on the "Template Mapping" page click 

2)  A blank column will now be added to the last column of the CSV display 

3) You will now be able to select the column that you would like to import into from the drop-down menu.

4)  Right Click on the drop-down menu and enter the text that you would like to import into the default value field and press enter.

5) Continue on from "Template Mapping"
