Overview

Patron Management - Allows you to perform a number of actions to manage your Patrons.

These actions include the following: 

    - Manually adding new Patrons (One Patron at a time) 

    - Editing Patron Information 

    - Deleting Patrons (One Patron at a time) 

       along with many more functions 

Adding a Patron

N.B Before continuing please ensure that you are logged to an account that has access to the Patron ManagementModule.

1. Login and click on the  icon.

2. Select Patron Details from the Systems Menu. 

3. Once the Management module has loaded, Click on  the button. 

4. Ensure any changes you have made have being saved before continuing. 

5. All will now be blank and ready for you to enter in the New Patrons Management. 

      N.B There are some mandatory fields that will need to be filled in before saving they are as follows:

        - First Name

        - Surname

        - Barcode

        - Homeroom

        - Classification  

6. When you are finished remember to click the  button. 

Editing an existing Patron

N.B Before continuing please ensure that you are logged to an account that has access to the Patron Management Module.

1. Login and click on the  icon. 

2. Click on Patron and Click on Patron Management.

3. Once the Patron Management module has loaded, click on the  button. 

4. You can find a Patron using multiple fields. 

    Example:

       - First Name

       - Surname

       - Barcode

       - Username

       - PatronID

5. Enter in one of the above fields in the 'Search Word' field to find your Patron then select the Patron you are after. 

6. You will now be able to edit the Patron. 

        N.B There are some mandatory fields that will need to be filled in before saving they are as follows:

                - First Name 

                - Surname 

                - Barcode 

                - Homeroom 

                - Classification

7. When you are finished remember to click the  button.

Deleting a Patron

N.B Before continuing please ensure that you are logged to an account that has access to the Patron Management Module.

1. Login and click on the  icon. 

2. Click on Patron and Click on Patron Management.

3. Once the Patron Management module has loaded, click on the  button. 

4. You can find a Patron using multiple fields. 

    Example:

       - First Name

       - Surname

       - Barcode

       - Username

       - PatronID

5.Enter in one of the above fields in the 'Search Word' field to find our Patron then select the Patron you are after.

6. Once you have selected the Patron click on the  button located on the right.

    N.B If the patron has any loans you will not be able to delete the Patron.
